As a highly-active member of Xplor International, the electronic document systems association, output pro Carrie Murphy took on many leadership roles. For the Xplor Northeast Region, she was president from 2001 to 2004. In addition, she was vice president from 1999 to 2000, and secretary in 1998. She was also a member of Xplor’s Adobe Systems Joint Technology Council. While at DST Systems as a systems manager, Murphy was instrumental in the delivery of several innovative transaction documents for DST Systems clients, including the first consolidated mutual fund shareholder statement, and the delivery of the first full color high-net asset shareholder statement. She also implemented an MRPII shop-floor control system for print and mail manufacturing. She was also responsible for roll feed printing within the organization, as well as electronic document delivery and electronic notification. Murphy received her Electronic Document Professional “EDP” Certification in 2000, and she serves as an EDP mentor and evaluator.
