Wilma M. Grant is the manager of the publications Unit of the Office of Data Systems for the Supreme Court of the United States. She has 21 years of experience with the federal government. Wilma actually began her career on the other side of the pond with the Royal Air Force in England, then emigrated to the United States. As In-Plant Manager of the Publications Dept., in the Office of Data Systems at the Supreme Court of the United States, she currently directs the book production publishing/typesetting of U.S. Reports, Slip Opinions and related products plus all other in-plant printing, Print-on-Demand, data conversion, and electronic product delivery via Hermes telecommunications, and data conversions of Court products for the Court's website. She is responsible for the safety and security of all documents handled by her dept. including such high profile cases as Bush v. Gore. She also serves as a technology adviser to the Court's Automation Policy Committee - senior Court officers. The Supreme Court has recognized her expertise by honoring her with many promotions and with a Superior Service "Public Recognition & Cash Award" (presented by Chief Justice William Rehnquist) and she has received many honors from the Government Printing Office and other printing-affiliated groups.
